Creative spaces aren't the only thing that help foster creativity at work - but they sure do help! It's interesting that Facebook recognises that the creativity involved in the work of most people there is intangible, and that having physical, tactile pieces of art around the place helps people to interact with that creativity.
Celebrating individuality is certainly way up there in fostering creativity...what is creativity if not individual. Some people aren't going to like it. That's ok. Fostering a culture of creativity requires courage. A heap. Letting go of control is a big thing - not for the faint-hearted.
